Astronomers have found more than 400 planets outside the solar system. I read an article called Cool a Jupiter by Stephen Ornes. Astronomers found a planet called Corot 9-b. It's name is Corot 9-b because it was spotted by a telescope called Corot. The article is about how astronomers find new planets. Also how the astronomers could find new solar systems. The article shows the temperatures of different planets. There are about 400 planets outside our solar system that we know of but they are all unlivable.

I have found a lot of important and interesting facts while reading the article. Planet Corot 9b transits it's star. Even though planet Corot 9b is cooler than many other Exoplanets it not habitatable. As Corot 9b passes in front of it's star, it blocks out sun light. Corot 9b is 1,500 light years away. Corot 9b was spotted by a telescope called Corot 9b. The planet got it's name from the telescope.

I would like to learn more about Corot 9b because I think it is very cool to learn about astronomy. Astronomy is cool because a lot of planets have so many facts. Planet Corot 9b is loaded with facts. I like to learn about planets because we live on one and there are so many planets out there. Who knows how many planets are out there. Who knows if there is another planet in another solar system with aliens on it. Although we can not live on certain planets, does not mean we can not learn about them.

Astronauts are lucky. They get to go to the moon. But they cant go on certain planets. It is sad that people cannot live on certain planets. I think it is sad that I could not live on Corot 9b. I can not live on it because it is to cold. There is no air. If people do not breathe, they die. I feel that it is okay that people can not go on certain planets because you can learn about it. It makes you feel like you are on it if you learn about a planet. It is sad people can not go on other planets, but if you become an astronaut, you can go to the moon!

It is true that planet Corot 9b is not livable. It has many great facts. Nobody knows how many planets there are in other solar systems, or how many solar systems there are. Yes it is sad that Corot 9b is not livable. But it does not mean you can not learn about it!

As Joey woke up on a beautiful Saturday, he went downstairs and made a light breakfast. Joey did not want to make a big breakfast because his family was going out for lunch. They were going to the 99 restaurant. His mother, father, two brothers, and two sisters were going. They had planned this lunch a week ago.

After Joey had a light breakfast, he went upstairs to go brush his teeth, and get ready. After Joey brushed his teeth, he was very hyper so he ran out of the bathroom, but in the corner of his eye just before he left the bathroom, he saw it. It was going in all different directions. It was everywhere! It was bedhead! He had never had bedhead like that before.

While Joey tried to fix his hair, he tried combing it, the comb flung out of his hand and made a dent in the wall. Joey tried using hairspray with extra hold on it. Joey almost used a whole bottle of it! It worked for about ten seconds then, boom! It was all back to the original bedhead look. Joey tried to use hair gel then dry it with the blow drier. When Joey put the hair gel on, before he knew it his hair went up and he did not notice. When he blew it with the blow drier, it was worse!

Joey decided he would just wear a hat. Joey was just in time because his family just pulled up. They were all ready to go. Everybody was so excited to go. Joey wore my lucky hat because last time Joey went to a restaurant, his drink fell on him! He was so upset that he made everyone in his family go home. He knew it was not going to happen to him this time.

When his family got to the 99 Restaurant, there was not one person waiting for a table. It was not that busy at all. When Joey's family went to the front desk, we said that we had seven people. They brought my family right to a table. A waiter came to our table, he introduced himself and asked us what we wanted to drink, we all ordered the drink we wanted. Joey ordered a water with a lemon. Then when he came with the drinks, he asked my family if we were ready to order. We ordered what we wanted. The food came in five minutes! Everybody's eye's opened wide. He was ready to take his first bite. But then Joey heard his mother say that he had to take his hat off.

His heart dropped. Joey did not know what he was going to do. Just as he was taking his hat off he heard "wake up, wake up!" Joey screamed then woke up. He noticed it was just a dream. He took a deep breath, and his mother said that Joey was sleeping while everybody was eating breakfast. It is time to go to the 99 Restaurant. Joey was happy. But he walked into the bathroom and there he saw it, BEDHEAD!

Homeless People

Have you ever walked down a street and saw a homeless person? There are a couple ways to help a homeless person. More people should help out and even if it's something little. We could all help out. I think homeless people should get a job, people should donate money to help them, and people could start a food drive.

Homeless people should get a job, but it is hard for them. According to www.povertyandpolicy.wordpress.com, homeless people can not get a job for many reasons. One reason a homeless person can not get a job is because they are not most likely not clean. Another reason they could not get a job is because they do not have a telephone connection. Homeless people should take a shower and have a form of communication.

People should donate money to the homeless because on www.volonteermatch.org homeless people are poor and can not afford many things. A way to help the homeless is to make a stand on a busy street and ask people if they want to make donations to the homeless. You can also help out by donating old pillows, blankets, clothes etc. I think people should donate more money.

Families should start a food drive for the homeless. On www.volonteermatch.org,it states that homeless people are poor and can't afford food. You can donate some food to the homeless, but if you do, make sure the food would not spoil. Canned foods such as tuna, salmon, and soup are great examples People should donate more food to the homeless.

Homeless people are poor and can not afford many things. People should help out a bit more. Homeless people can not get a job because they are dirty and do not have a form of communication. You can help out also by donating old clothes. They need our help. We should all help out. We can all make a huge difference. If we all try, we should help them a lot.
